2015 Weigh Off Results - Thanksgiving Point
Brent Evans Wins Thanksgiving Point Weigh-Off with A 1455 Lb Giant Pumpkin
Brent Evans won the 2015 Utah Giant Pumpkin Grower weigh off at Thanksgiving point with a beautiful 1455 pound pumpkin. The winner was too close to call right down to the wire with the 2 top pumpkins measuring virtually the same size. In the end, Brent's pumpkin edged out the others and Brent captured his first weigh-off win.
Brent's pumpkin, grown from the 1386.5 Sadiq seed, smashed his personal best by nearly 640 pounds. Brent brought his first pumpkin to a UGPG wiegh-off in 2007 and it weighed in at just 289.5 lbs. This is the first time he has placed in the top five. Congratulations to Brent on his very first weigh-off win at Thanksgiving Point!!
