2022 Weigh Off Results - Hee Haw Farms
Mohamed Sadiq Wins His 4th Weigh-Off with a 1905 Pound Giant Pumpkin!!
Dr. Mohamed Sadiq pulled out a dominate win in what was a very tough season for Utah Pumpkin Growers. The veteran Utah pumpkin grower came to HeeHaw farms hoping for a new personal best and he was not disappointed. His pumpkin tipped the scales at a whopping 1905 pounds! And he still had another pumpkin still growing in the patch.
Sadiqs pumpkin, grown from the 2183.7 Mendi seed from Spain and beat his personal best grown in 2020 by 80 pounds. He brought his first pumpkin to a UGPG wiegh-off in 2010 and it weighed in at 593 lbs.
Just 2 weeks later he broke the Utah State Record at the Nut Tree World Championship in Vacaville, CA. The second pumpkin weighed in at 2287 pounds to win 1st place at the California weigh-off. Congratulations to Sadiq on his big pumpkins and an amazing year in 2022!!
