2019 Weigh Off Results - Hee Haw Farms
Dr. Sadiq Wins His 1st Utah Weigh-Off With A 1411 Personal Best
Mohamed Sadiq won the 2019 Utah Giant Pumpkin Grower weigh off at Hee Haw Farms with an enormous pumpkin. With a huge circumference of 202.5 inches, it appeared to have the edge right from the start. Once the pumpkin topped the scales at 1411 pounds, the crowd went wild celebrating Sadiq's first big weigh-off win.
Sadiq's pumpkin, grown from the 1911 Urena seed, beat his personal best, grown in 2014 by only 25 pounds. Sadiq has been growing pumpkins for 10 years. He brought his first pumpkin to a UGPG wiegh-off in 2010 and it weighed in at 593 lbs. Congratulations to Dr. Sadiq on his weigh-off win at Hee Haw Farms!! He currently stands at 5th place on Utah's heavy hitter list.
