The first ever UTAH STATE FAIR GIANT PUMPKIN CONTEST is September 8 at 4pm. The state fairgrounds are located at 155 N 1000 W Salt Lake City, UT.
It is an official GPC weigh off and will have special awards. The three biggest pumpkins will receive prize money. Over 200,000 people attended the fair last year.
Schedule of Events

Wednesday, September 4th
- 1 pm - 7 pm: Drop off & on-site registration
- State Fair entry fee: $20 (includes 2 free tickets)

Sunday, September 8th
- 4 pm: Official Weigh-Off

The entry fee of $20 will include 2 free tickets to the state fair. All pumpkins will remain on display throughout the fair and can be picked up after Sept 15th.
